Techniques we used in acting as an “Ambassador”
through working online, personal contacting or team
cooperating. |
On the school’s homepage, we created a link to our
self-made website, in the hope to have our parents,
teachers, and the public know more about and pay
more attention to the landmark building.
Furthermore, we held an exhibition for all people in
school to publish what we had been working on and
the outcome we derived, looking to make our job
understood by more students, so that more people
will be inspired to show identity and love to our
local heritages. |
The
effect and impact of the research program on us. |
The most significant experience derived from the
exhibition is the knowledge on Minsyong Broadcast
Center originally held by most team members and
teachers, growing to the fullest out of virtually
nothing. The materials collected were offered to the
school so as to have more people realize the high
value of the only radio museum in Taiwan, Minsyong
Broadcast Center. Via the pervasive Internet, our
webpages were promoted to schools and communities,
fulfilling the purpose of knowledge exchange,
broadening horizons. In this way, we will be winning
not only sympathies and supports from parents in the
community, but also an image of profession for our
school and teachers. |
How
did other local members provide assistance or
voluntarily participate in the research program?
|
We had received a lot of generous
help from many people, like Jian You, Wen Xin, Xiang
Mei, all are staff members in the radio who gave us
detailed explanations. Besides, Yi Miao, Jian Gu of
Chengsheng Radio, the School Principal, Director of
Computer Division, School Teacher Jian Yu, all of
whom provided proper instructions and advice. Last
but not least, the hard works of all team members.
The entire event is characterized by the dedication
and perspiration of each one above.

Copyrights and The Intellectual Property Rights |
Our
website was completed with first-hand date we
obtained from the interviews and all the images,
texts that are granted permissions from the
interviewees. The teachers make students aware of
the importance of intellectual property by carrying
out the requests for permission exactly. |
Discoveries, Lessons, and Surprises |
In
the event, we learned how radio functions in our
regular lives, the history of Minsyong Broadcast
Center, and the characters of the building, etc. The
students are not only driven to learn more from the
experience, but turn a lot sensitive at the place
where they live. We planted an idea in their young
minds, looking forward that the idea will one day go
into full bloom, and then draw more people to foster
our local culture. |
