Teacher, Liang Yi RongThis is the host of Chengsheng Radio, Mrs. Liu.

Yi MiaoYou have images on TV but you only have sounds in radio. In fact, there are still many integral elements in radio, for example, sound effects, records, and compact disks, etc. The CD shelves and data room are of great importance to our radio. On the other side is the studio, which is equipped with acoustical boards, and rugs. Those objects help absorb noises. There are two microphones and machines and we will elaborate on them later. The frequencies of Chengsheng Radio are AM855 and AM1260. The difference of AM and FM lies in the radio waves and how they are transmitted. Apart from that, FM uses Mega Hertz, whereas AM uses Kilo Hertz. AM uses amplitude modulation, but the sounds generated are less clean and clear, while FM produces sounds that are good and pleasant. The disadvantage of FM is that its signals will be blocked by tall buildings, causing poor reception in urban areas. AM, on the other hand, covers a wider area than FM, as it is not only able to transmit its signals in the air but also underground via the networks installed beneath the earth. We broadcast by turning sound waves into radio waves and then sending it out. The devices you see are all for professional use. This machine has a name called “the forefront”. It provides all the things you will possibly need in recording, such as audio mixing and even timbre adjustment.
