1999 In 1999, with regard to preserving broadcast heritage and providing a window to radio history for the public, the Radio Museum was established at the site of RTI, Minsyong Branch, which makes a landmark building by the acknowledgement of the government, given its significant history and holding of the precious transmitter built by NEC electric company of Japan 60 years ago.
2001

On July 26th, 2001, the lodging house of RTI Minsyong Branch was also listed as a landmark building. The Radio Museum not only exhibits the collection it owns, but stages various cultural events from time to time.

2002 On March 18th, 2002, the application for becoming a Local Cultural Museum was approved by the Ministry of Culture.
2004   RTI, Minsyong Branch officially joined the lineup of Local Cultural Museum under the Ministry of Culture in 2004, and made to the list of Minsyong Eight Wonders in a local poll, which adds an entertaining trait to itself.
